Your new role

As a Test Engineer, you will become a contributing member of a software engineering team, focused on the improving software quality by developing software test plans and procedures. In this role you will also be responsible for testing software installed on the machines like: sprayers, harvesters and tractors – because tractors are the coolest, right?

You will test said machines in the simulator, or in the field (literally).

Your responsibilities will include:
• Evaluate test requirements, based on specifications, standard procedures, and internal/external requirements. Develop test plans and procedures.
• Execute and document tests.
• Identify and recommend test equipment, production equipment, fixturing, or tooling needed to meet product specifications.
• Prepare reports of testing data, evaluate, and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Keep abreast of new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications.
• May assist with the request for quote process, as related to needs for the testing function.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
• May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
• Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Entry level or early career engineer with Bachelors' degree or Master's degree in engineering field - Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of an internship in related field is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
• Good communication in English
