Team description:
Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) supports the Source to Pay cycle, engaging with suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing Purchase Orders, performing query management and providing support and query management across the process lifecycle.
Specialist, Source-to-Pay is responsible for:
Execution as well as supporting the end to end Source to Pay process, including but not limited to creating and maintaining guidance, developing support material to introduce improved ‘self-help’ support mechanisms, and supporting day to day GSCM operations.
Operating across the source to pay lifecycle; including strategic sourcing, procurement operations, vendor management, process analysis, helpdesk functions and query management, operational reporting and analysis and functional and operational transformation.
Actively support ongoing transformation projects across the GSCM function.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
Minimum 5 years of working experience.
Relevant industry experience in sourcing, procurement, operations or finance.
Experience in transformation projects will be advantageous.
Good knowledge of procurement systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP Ariba, Ivalua).
Knowledge of wider vendor governance and risk management tools (e.g. Archer) will be advantageous, but not essential.
Experience in analysing complex data and turning into actionable information and objectives.
Good analytical skills, along with sound judgement and critical thinking.
Able to effectively communicate with different types of stakeholders at different levels.
Must communicate fluently in English.
The candidate must be a self-starter, highly-motivated and able to work independently.
