For our client, a multinational company that manufactures and retails personal-care products and pressure-sensitive adhesives, we are looking for a person interested in IT Service Engineer role.

Your new role

• Together with the global network service team design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
• Perform maintenance and upgrade of Fortinet firewall
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Fortigate Firewall Platforms
• Develop and maintain rule sets for firewalls
• Perform patch management on Fortinet firewalls
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco ISE
• Experience in enterprise-wide design/engineering/administration of Cisco ISE
• Ability to work with provided security policies to design and implement network and security rules and configurations
• Maximise network performance by ongoing monitoring performance
• Troubleshooting network problems and outages

What you'll need to succeed

• University degree
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• 3+ years’ experience working as a network engineer
• Very good knowledge of Cisco routing protocols and switching protocols
• Very good knowledge of Cisco Troubleshooting
• Good experience with Cisco Nexus switches / CLI and product series
• Good knowledge of fibre optics and datacentres
• Knowledge of Cisco Prime
• Cisco CCNP Level with minimum of 3 years' experience in Enterprise Datacentres
• Teamwork skills and the ability to feel comfortable working with different teams and groups of staff across an organization
• Knowledge and experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins) – nice to have
