Medical Science Liaison Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop, execute and modify an appropriate Medical Affairs Strategy for the company
  • Identify, develop and maintain resilient partnerships with KOLs and HCPs
  • Provide scientific and medical expertise and lead exchange with external and internal experts
  • Act as partner, regional contact and support for relevant medical-scientific topics
  • Develop, implement and engage medical activities such as advisory boards, symposia on congresses and attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences
  • Develop scientific presentations and support medical speakers like KOLs in their preparation
  • Participate in congresses and symposia, provide medical stand support and congress reports
  • Collaborate with scientific and medical societies and professional organizations to promote the company strategy and products
  • Concept, initiate and supervise scientific trainings and expert meetings
  • Serve as a scientific expert for external and internal stakeholders such as marketing and sales teams and conduct trainings
  • Trigger study projects and support ongoing medical projects (especially non-interventional studies)
  • Observe continuously the market, acquire relevant information and update internal stakeholders on scientific community activities
  • Respond to medical and scientific requests from HCPs and sales representatives
  • Plan your visits in the field, document your contacts, take responsibility on your budget as well as on administrative tasks
EXPECTATIONS:
  • Successfully completed university degree in science, or medicine, preferably with a PhD, pharmaceutical degree also acceptable
  • Experience and success as MSL, ideally with knowledge in infection prevention and or wound management or related disciplines
  • Strong ability to work independently on scientific topics
  • Knowledge in the implementation of clinical trials
  • Experience in public scientific presentations
  • Proven knowledge of the local healthcare system, including knowledge of market access challenges
  • Excellent skills in communication, presentation techniques and written communication
  • High level of personal ownership, proactivity and organizational talent
  • Confident appearance, strong interpersonal skills, empathy, team spirit, enjoy networking and desire for a lot of fresh input
  • Willingness to travel (up to 80%)
