For our client - an international company in Katowice, we are looking for an OTC Internal Control Analyst. If you are searching for new opportunities, you feel comfortable in English and you are experienced in internal/ external audit, that’s the offer for you!

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting local businesses with the design and implementation of the internal control framework (SOX and non-SOX) and financial control policies, supporting with the delivery in Europe of the Group Sarbanes Oxley program, supporting and training business and control owners on internal control matters. You will be advising locally business management on implications of regulatory policies and assisting in the implementation of new or revised policies and programs to address them. Your tasks will include supporting with managing the structure for control execution/documentation and reporting on conclusions, supporting with the preparation and maintenance of detailed documentation, including process maps, key controls, and risks, whilst also providing assessment of internal control effectiveness. You will be working with internal and external auditors on design and testing for key risk areas and also:
  • developing and maintaining a high level of expertise in all regulations,
  • supporting with appropriate testing and analyzing key performance indicators to ensure requirements of the financial policies and programs are maintained at a level commensurate with regulatory expectations.

Key and desired skills

We are looking for a person with min. 3 years of experience in internal/ external audit within the industry/accounting profession and with business degree or equivalent experience, preferred Accounting or Finance degree. It will be nice if you have accounting or audit qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, MBA, CIA, etc.) and experience with Sarbanes Oxley (industry or public accounting) and internal controls. Our perfect Candidate should be communicative, self – motivated, assertive, proactive and should be able to influence and drive change. Fluency in English is required. Experience in GRC tools (preferably RSA Archer) is welcome.
We are looking for people who are ready for business trips (max. 30% of work - Netherlands, Czech Republic, Tunisia, Spain, Turkey, Germany)
