Global Process Owner Order to Cash

OTC, Global Process Owner
For our Client, a GBS located in Tricity, we are currently looking for Global Process Owner OTC to support and drive process excellence in the Order to Cash process. The core of this role is to deliver significant value to our Client's Centre by designing, implementing, and maintaining standardised global OTC processes.

This role focuses on setting and managing the strategic agenda for the OTC process. The GPO will be responsible for designing principles and performance metrics, designing the standard process, performing fit-gap analysis and developing and implementing a programme to drive the organisation to standardised processes. You will be responsible for bringing and identifying best practices and working with the continuous improvements within the end-to-end OTC process. The role requires a solid financial experience with demonstrated understanding of OTC processes. The candidate should demonstrate a combination of strong operational finance and commercial understanding, transformation experience and interpersonal and leadership skills. At the beginning, the role will focus on Credit Risk Management and Collections processes, together with delivery teams across all regions and creating a common framework for them.

  • Develop vision, strategy, and objectives for the global O2C process including potential software requirements, aligned with company policies
  • Ensure adherence to standard methods and data security requirements
  • Develop and monitor KPI’s and external benchmarking to ensure process effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement processes and process governance improvement initiatives
  • Approve process changes and define functional requirements for system solutions
  • Share best practice and communicate roles and achievements within global finance
  • Identify training gaps and put in place remediation
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders and drive a general customer-oriented mindset
  • Work closely and collaboratively with service delivery centres to drive continuous operational improvement
Required education, experience and job-related skills
  • Educational background: Minimum bachelor degree in finance or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years
  • Strong transformation experience from multiple global organizations
  • Fluent in English – verbally and written In depth knowledge of Finance processes and policies and full ability to apply these in the daily work
  • Ability to interpret, analyse and communicate financial information concisely
Technical skills:
  • Qualified in Finance & Accounting signifying in depth knowledge and solid overview of the finance function
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to structure and follow up on assignments
  • Good communication and exceptional organizational skills including stakeholder management
  • Proven managerial experience from similar type job
  • Preferably knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or SAP
  • Advanced skills in Excel (Macros, modelling, pivot tables, and lookups) and Power Point
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Lean / Six Sigma qualifications and experience preferable
