Transition Manager, Business Services Transition Manager
For our Client, an international GBS Centre located in Gdańsk, we are currently looking for GBS Transition Manager. The person holding this position will be responsible for leading and managing a GBS transition team consisting of members from GBS operation and GL/IC. As a Transition Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the work of the functional work stream resources and managing stakeholders in each country. You will be expected to manage the hyper-care period until cut-over and close, as well as execute knowledge transfer activities from local organisation. You will be expected to hand-over of all relevant documentation and knowledge to the GBS.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring all services are ready for transfer at kick-off and the GBS organization is ready for receiving
  • Building and managing the plan for work shadowing in the transition period covering all services
  • Ensuring involved resources have clear role and responsibility and the required knowledge related to transition
  • Allocating required resources to ensure stable performance
  • Managing stakeholder mapping of each country
  • Identifying and suggesting improvement areas
  • Performing quality review
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Team Leaders and managers in GBS
Required education, experience and job-related skills
  • Minimum master degree in business, engineering or similar
  • More than 5 years of experience with transition of services
  • Project management of large change projects
  • Ability to lead and inspire the team toward higher level of performance;
  • Knowledge of process documentation and knowledge transfer methodology
  • English language at minimum B2 level
  • Knowledge of other languages is beneficial;
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement process and problem solving approach;
  • Good communication and exceptional organizational skills including stakeholder management;
  • Ability to work under time pressure and stress resistance.
