For our Client for an Energy sector in the American Conglomerate operating in various industries, we are currently looking for a Finance Specialist - Statutory.
Your new role
You will be responsible for a proper statutory bookkeeping and reconciliations, review of US GAAP accounting records, journal entries, source documents, and account reconciliations, preparing and posting necessary adjustments GAAP to ensure alignment with local accounting and tax requirements, reconciling differences, performing year-end statutory closing activities, calculating current and deferred income tax, and cooperation with tax advisors. As a Finance Specialist - Statutory, you will prepare financial statements, prepare documentation for audits, cooperate with auditors, prepare reports, prepare basic financial data for Transfer Pricing documentation, and other finance-related tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll need to have a bachelor’s degree (finance, economy, accounting, or related field), at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, profound knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations. Fluent English (B2/C1 level) and good Excel skills are a must. The ideal candidate is proactive, open with a resilient character, and has good time management skills. Oracle, SAP knowledge, and experience in the energy industry will be an advantage.
