The IT Service Delivery Manager in the area of Site Networks, is responsible for the delivery of service strategy, network technology roadmap and lifecycle, service development and service delivery performance for wide area networks. The IT Service Delivery Manager will enable a proactive customer-centric culture; deliver the transformation of network technology and services; and deliver continuous improvement in service performance and cost targets. The scope of Local Area Networks includes site networks for Operational Technology, Global Distribution Centres and Offices covering LAN and WiFi. Over the next 18-months the company will transform the Local-Area-Network to support company’s growth in a Digital World. This role will play a key part in defining, implementing, transitioning and developing the network service. This role is based in our Tech Hub in Wroclaw and reports to the Senior IT Manager, Networks and is a member of the Enterprise Technology team.

Your new role
Working on this position you will be responsible for delivering network services throughout the service lifecycle within the agreed service levels. Identify network service providers, establish network services and manage service provider performance. Moreover, you will deliver service enhancements and projects and ensure that all IT Service Management processes, Service Level Agreements and Underpinning Contracts are appropriate for the agreed service level targets. Additionally, you will plan, direct and coordinate the efforts of network service provider's operations teams to manage and maintain BAU service, the provision of which s/he is responsible for, oversee the general health of the live service required to meet business requirements and implementation of, and adherence to, security standards (security strategy set by Security Architecture). It Service Delivery Manager will ensure ongoing architectural integrity of the service throughout its lifecycle and manage the maintenance of applications availability, reliability, maintainability, serviceability & continuity requirements against the cost justified service and operating level agreements for the network service.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful on this job position you need to have a university degree and 2-3 years of experience in managing a global network service provider on behalf of an enterprise; or 5 to 6 years of leading a global network service providers delivery into an enterprise. We expect candidates to have leadership experience of similar scale network transformation, including selecting a service provider, building transformation plans, service transition and bringing into steady-state. Moreover, candidates need to have experience of: setting network strategy, proposing improvements, building a business case and initiating network projects, managing a network services budget greater than $8m/year, measurable service KPI improvements and driving automation to improve service levels and reduce costs. Relevant candidates should have deep knowledge of: local area network technologies including switching, zoning, wireless controllers and access, RF Guns and other operational technology, network security policies, technologies and network management tooling and some knowledge of API driven software definition of network. The company highly appreciates ITIL Service Management qualifications and knowledge of IT Service Management operating models for infrastructure (ITIL) and ServiceNow or equivalent tools. We are searching for candidates with excellent communication skills and very good English knowledge.
